This enables us to stay close to our product users, providing the best possible support and ensuring that our technical service reaches customers worldwide.We are looking for a Bioprocess Engineer or Scientistwith a background in life sciences to join the Production Engineering team.This role supports the manufacturing of reagents through the development,optimization, and implementation of production processes, while alsocontributing to new product development and scale-up.A dynamic personis required, predisposed to continuous learning, with initiative, with theability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, and who likes teamwork. Theability to communicate with the client is also required, in order to centralizethe development of the company's projects.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, optimize, standardize, implement, and validate production processes to ensure efficient and scalable manufacturing workflows.Work closely with the R&D Department to design, develop and validate production processes and support the transfer, implementation and maintenance of new or modified products, ensuring manufacturability, optimization, and cost-effectiveness.Generate and maintain quality system documentation related to production processes and/or the product itself.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing, aiming to increase product robustness and cost-efficiency.Work closely with the Production Department to ensure proper execution and scale-up of manufacturing processes.Analyse deviations and non-conformities in production processes and raw materials and promote the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.Actively participate in product development phases as required, based on project leader and/or R&D management direction.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant area such as Science or Biotechnology.Previous knowledge in the related scientific-technical area.The following experience will be of value:
