We are currently seeking an Indirect Procurement Cluster Manager Spain & Portugal.
This role offers a great opportunity for a talented procurement professional to support the building of the future global procurement organization and lead local and regional projects in collaboration with stakeholders worldwide. The role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver cost efficiencies, supply assurance, and quality, aligning with internal budgets and company objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to leverage knowledge, relationships, and investments effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Serve as the key contact for Global Procurement in Spain & Portugal, working closely with the Global Procurement Category Manager.
* Drive savings initiatives across countries, focusing on Marketing, IT, and Retail.
* Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to provide a competitive advantage.
* Foster strategic supplier relationships to enhance cost reduction, supply security, and quality.
* Build effective partnerships with stakeholders to understand and fulfill business needs.
* Support financial planning through spend forecasting and budget management.
* Ensure organizational, systems, and process effectiveness within the indirect procurement function.
Education and Experience:
* Masters degree in Procurement, Business, or related field.
* 7-10 years of experience in Indirect Procurement within a matrixed environment, familiar with category management.
* Experience managing Marketing spend is a plus.
* Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
* Proven negotiation skills for large supplier contracts.
* Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
