**Role Overview**
As an Area/Shift Manager at Amazon, you will have the opportunity to lead a large and diverse team in a dynamic environment. Your primary focus will be on maintaining safety standards, monitoring process efficiency, and prioritizing routine team management and daily operational tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
* Analyse and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts
* Support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture
* Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service
* Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes
**A Day in the Life**
You will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your days will be filled with varied tasks, including individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning. You will also work closely with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets.
**Requirements**
* Currently in final year and working towards a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
* Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language
* Relevant experience in performing data analysis
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
* Experience in a logistical working environment
* Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
