What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
Financial Oversight – Manage and maintain the company's financial health by overseeing accounts, cash flow, and reconciliation.
Bookkeeping & Reporting – Keep accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly classified and reported.
Cost Control & Profitability – Analyze expenses and identify ways to optimize margins, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
Tax Compliance & Regulations – Ensure compliance with tax laws, filing deadlines, and financial regulations across different regions.
E-commerce Financial Management – Handle Amazon, Shopify, and other e-commerce platform transactions, including revenue tracking, chargebacks, and cost analysis.
Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist leadership in financial planning, setting budgets, and creating accurate forecasts based on data-driven insights.
Accounts Payable & Receivable – Manage vendor payments, invoices, and supplier relationships, ensuring smooth financial transactions.
Financial Strategy – Work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights that help guide business decisions and fuel growth.
Auditing & Internal Controls – Establish strong financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications & Requirements)
Experience: 3+ years in accounting, finance, or a similar role (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods).
E-commerce Knowledge: Experience with Amazon FBA, Shopify, and digital payment platforms is a big plus.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Tax & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with sales tax, VAT, and international financial regulations.
Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights.
Problem-Solver & Proactive: A strategic thinker who takes initiative and finds solutions to financial challenges.
