Amazon Web Services is partnering with Digital Skillnet Ireland to launch their Career Returners program. The aim is to support those who have been out of the workplace for a number of months or who have graduated recently to re‑start their career and develop their skills and experience in a progressive environment.
This role is a unique opportunity to work in some of the most cutting edge data centers in the world. Amazon data centers are large‑scale high‑density centres where you will be working on changing the face of Cloud technology in the region.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centres and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. The Data Center Operations team primary responsibility is the maintenance and upkeep of the data centre infrastructure. This role is located onsite at a Dublin Data Centre.

Basic Qualifications
* Leaving Certificate and a Level 6 or higher qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
