We are seeking a talented Theoretical Physicist specializing in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) physics to support and guide experimental research and development efforts.
The successful candidate will develop theoretical models, perform simulations, and provide analytical insight that informs the design and optimisation of cutting-edge quantum and optical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement theoretical models for light–matter interactions in atomic and optical systems.Collaborate closely with experimental teams to interpret results and guide system design.Model coherence, decoherence, and noise effects in quantum and optical devices.Provide simulation and analytical support to inform experimental and engineering decisions.Contribute to publications, technical reports, and internal knowledge sharing.Required QualificationsPhD in AMO Physics, Quantum Optics, or a related field.Strong background in theoretical physics and analytical modelling.Experience working with or supporting experimental research.Proficiency in numerical simulation tools (Python, MATLAB, Julia, C++, or equivalent).
