Job Title: Event Manager
Location: Hybrid in Marbella, with some international travel
Contract Type: Full-time (permanent) or freelance (autónomo)
Salary: €32,000-€42,000 annually
Hours: Full-time with occasional evening availability during events

Role Overview:
As an Event Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering our signature events in Marbella and across the world. Working collaboratively with a small, close-knit team, you will manage event logistics, liaise with vendors, and ensure our events run smoothly and leave guests inspired.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person events, ensuring all logistical details are accounted for.
* Work closely with venues, vendors, and partners to negotiate contracts and secure services.
* Manage event budgets, timelines, and materials to ensure seamless execution.
* Support the creation of event programming, speaker logistics, and guest experience strategies.
* Travel as required for on-site event management.
* Organising meetings and travel for the Co-founders and clients.
* Serve as a point of contact for guests and speakers, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
* Work collaboratively with the Elevate team, while also taking ownership of independent projects.
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of experience in event management.
* Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
* Ability to thrive under pressure, putting out fires with a smile.
* Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* A proactive, adaptable, and resourceful mindset.
* Ability to thrive both as part of a team and independently.
* Flexibility to travel for international events.
* A passion for creating exceptional experiences that connect and inspire.
Preferred Requirements:
* A background in hospitality, tourism, or luxury events.
* Familiarity with high-end venues, VIP guest management, and event production in a luxury setting.
* AI-savvy: Comfortable using and learning AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, generative AI) to support event planning, research, and marketing.
