* Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles, aircraft, or railroad cars.
* Plan, organize, and manage subordinate staff to ensure work completion and adherence to company standards.
* Investigate and resolve customer or shipper complaints.
* Collaborate with staff to develop and implement transportation procedures, revenue goals, and customer service objectives.
* Work with warehouse, purchasing, and other managers to optimize processes.
* Ensure compliance with transportation policies, safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations.
* Promote safety through audits and safety meetings.
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have thorough knowledge of supply chain management and warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders, and tracking transportation vehicles. Familiarity with safety processes and legal regulations is essential.
* BSc in Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant field
* 10+ years of experience in transport management
* 7+ years of supervisory experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Familiarity with logistics software
