Colt provides network, voice, and data centre services to thousands of businesses worldwide, enabling them to focus on their core goals instead of infrastructure.Why we need this roleThe Regional Security Coordinator (Europe, with a focus on Spain and the Iberian Peninsula) oversees security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees, assets, and operations in the region.This role involves managing security operations, coordinating international teams, conducting risk assessments, and incident response. The ideal candidate will have a strong security management background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. The position is based in Spain, overseeing Security Operations across Europe.What you will doOperational Security Management :
Oversee daily security operations across multiple sites in Spain & Europe.Manage security personnel, including in-house teams and third-party vendors.Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.Security Strategy and Planning :
Align regional security standards with global policies and best practices.Conduct risk assessments and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities.Develop and update emergency response and crisis management plans.Incident Response and Crisis Management :
Serve as the primary contact for security incidents in Europe.Assist in investigations and provide incident reports.Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.Training and Awareness :
Create and deliver security training for employees and contractors.Promote security awareness across the organization.Conduct drills to test security plans.Stakeholder Collaboration :
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security measures support business goals.Engage with external partners, including government agencies and security firms.Other responsibilities :
Support audits and maintain site risk registers.Manage security operation Statements of Work for Spain & Europe.Participate in audit and compliance frameworks, review KPIs and SLAs monthly.Hold regular meetings and quarterly reviews with suppliers.Develop and test incident management procedures.Assist with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 9000 audits.Report on key security risks and implement controls.Support projects aligned with company goals.Attend training and upskilling sessions.Support sustainability initiatives.What we're looking forKey skills and experience :
Effective communication with leadership, stakeholders, and external partners.Operational and technical security expertise, team management across regions.Experience in security reviews, risk management, incident management, and continuous improvement.Experience managing security teams and using management tools.Familiarity with risk assessment methods and tools.Proficiency in MS Office, PowerBI, MS Project, Excel, Data Management, and Reporting.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.Qualifications :
3-5 years in security management, preferably in IT, Data Centre, or Telecom sectors.Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, crisis response.Familiarity with Spanish and EU security laws.Fluency in Spanish and good English skills.Professional certifications (e.G., Security Director, Security Manager) are desirable but not mandatory;
