Could you be the full-time EHS Technician in Barcelona we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your EHS expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll manage, perform and ensure the activities related to Health and Safety are applied in the projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management), coordinate the Health and Safety area for Maintenance Services projects and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of providing technical expertise/guidance and support at every step of the project life cycle but also providing technical EHS leadership in Maintenance Services Projects.
We’ll look to you for:
Support Site EHS manager for EHS topic
1. Perform EHS Risk Assessment and plan preventive activities to define appropriate measures for controlling risks for the assigned projects/depots.
2. Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans.
3. Coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
Develop Site EHS Management System
4. Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
5. Maintains EHS files and records.
EHS Compliance
6. Ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions.
7. Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
Develop EHS culture in the site
8. Inform, instruct and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
9. Participate in the implementation of the site EHS training programs by providing EHS induction and continuos training
Report, Measure and Review:
10. EHS Reports
11. Carry out inspection and audits
12. Measurement and analysis of EHS KPI's

Educational Requirements:
13. University Engineer or Business Degree
14. Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in Spain: University MS in Prevention of Occupational Risks (Safety Specialist – Industrial Hygienist – Ergonomics Specialist)
15. Degree level Environmental Qualification to Diploma or Degree level (desirable)
Experience
16. Professional experience up to 5 years
17. Experience of 1 years in Environment, Health & Safety
18. Highly recommended experience in industrial or manufacturing sites. Experience in railway environment companies is a plus.
19. Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO45001 ISO 50001 Internal Auditor is a plus
20. Deep knowledge of local legal requirements.
21. Experience in railway and/or EHS auditor is a plus
Language:
Spanish native. Englist high-medium level
