Firmware Engineer at B2Space

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Firmware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for our space systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
* Design, code, evaluate, and debug firmware for space systems.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in firmware development.
* Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
* Stay updated with the latest in embedded systems and firmware development techniques.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science.
* Proficiency in embedded C/C++ development for 32-bit ARM microcontrollers, preferably STM32.
* Knowledge of development tools, real-time operating systems, and algorithm implementation.
* Experience with development/testing strategies, version control, and documentation.
* Hands-on skills with in-circuit emulators, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
* Ability to interpret electronic schematics and datasheets.
* Comfort working in Linux and Windows environments.
* Experience with communication stacks (USB, WiFi, LoRa, CAN, LIN, MQTT) and protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).
* Knowledge of embedded systems security (TLS, encryption, hashing).
* Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS and Zephyr.
Desired Skills
* Embedded Linux programming experience.
* Control systems design with Matlab and Simulink Embedded Coder.
* Knowledge of radio communications, antenna design, and link performance analysis.
