About the School – The British School of Barcelona Maresme The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is a great school located in a wonderful setting.

We are an HMC school and were judged by a recent BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection to be outstanding in every area, including quality of education, safeguarding, pupil welfare and academic outcomes.

BSB is a large, very popular school for children aged 3 to 18.

Our curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum and offers a wide range of GCSEs, A levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, all alongside a significant enrichment programme.

Over **** pupils from more than 74 nationalities attend the school and over 315 staff work at BSB across three locations.

In **** we will be expanding our school with a state-of-the-art campus at Maresme, east of Barcelona city.

The campus will initially enrol students from Nursery to Year 6 in ****, expanding to Year 13 in ****.

This development will feature specialist facilities such as dedicated science labs, music and art rooms, rehearsal spaces, play, social and study areas, and indoor and outdoor sports facilities set against mountains and the coast.

As a Primary Music Teacher at BSB you will deliver an engaging and innovative curriculum that inspires young learners to thrive academically, personally, and socially.

You will create a positive learning environment, set high expectations, and use formative and summative assessments to track progress.

Beyond the classroom you will contribute to whole-school priorities, collaborate with colleagues, and uphold the highest safeguarding standards.

Who We Are Looking For
\n
You are an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree and QTS (or international equivalent).
\n
You bring significant experience in primary teaching and have the resilience and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up school environment.
\n
You are a self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and a growth mindset.
\n
EAL experience is desirable.
\n
