As IT Apprentice based in Barcelona reporting to the Iberic IT Manager you will be responsible to migrate our computer base installed from W10 to W11. You will travel around Iberia laboratories to manage the obsolescence equipment doing migrations to W11 or changes PCs in each laboratory/instrument.
What will be your missions at bioMérieux?
-Migrate our systems to Windows 11 on Iberia
-Support mandatory and optional software and firmware patches and upgrades.
-Discuss with hospital IT people about cybersecurity and networks, to connect our equipment to the hospital network and our remote support platform.
-Win remote connections on the Iberia Hospitals
-Create and maintenance the remote platforms using VPNs
-Provide direct support to both internal and external customers/Operators and end users : helping set up hardware or software, Troubleshooting and diagnosing connectivity / data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software
-Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
-Keep stakeholders informed/updated
-Support rolling out new pro-active IT service tools and processes.
