Position Overview
We are seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to lead pastry operations, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes while maintaining the highest standards of health, hygiene, and quality.
Responsibilities
* Organize pastry batch operations, prepare and serve dishes, and supervise the pastry brigade.
* Prepare necessary materials and equipment in advance.
* Maintain a clean and replenished work area.
* Coach, counsel, and discipline staff who violate hotel policies or departmental procedures, providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
* Recycle wherever possible and implement cost‑saving measures.
* Communicate any difficulties, guest feedback, or relevant information to management.
* Ensure the quality and consistency of food.
Qualifications
* At least two years of experience in a similar pastry position.
* Open‑minded, EU citizenship, and studies suitable for the role.
* High orientation to service, customer focus, and results.
* Proficient in Spanish or English; other languages are a plus.
* Knowledge and experience in 5‑star/luxury hotel environments.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
