As a Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
* Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents to management and/or law enforcement as needed.
* Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions within the location.
* Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the site.
* Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and unauthorized activity.
* Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Primarily driving post is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
