Consolidation Assistant

Permanent contract / Marbella, Spain

Your profile

* High level of Microsoft Excel experience required, including Dynamics 365.
* Experience with consolidation software and financial investment environments.
* Knowledge of Opera Consolidation tool is a plus.
* Experience with IFRS and international accounting practices.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
* Strong technical and automation skills.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Flexible, team-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.
* Business-oriented with demonstrated customer service skills.
* Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
* Relevant experience as an auditor within a Big 4 or second-tier accounting firm.


Main responsibilities & tasks

* Coordinate and supervise the consolidation process monthly.
* Prepare the Consolidated Annual Accounts and Interim Accounts.
* Assist in defining and supervising the implementation of IFRS-based accounting policies.
* Provide technical support to the Accounting Department, including IFRS and Local GAAP conversions.
* Review and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
* Support additional reporting requirements as needed.
* Lead strategic tasks and projects in the Finance area.
* Analyze financial data to explain variances and interpret results.
* Communicate financial results clearly to management.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
* Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.
* Develop new processes and systems as required.
