We are looking for a Accounting Intern to support the Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning Team. The internship provides hands‑on exposure to IFRS reporting, financial systems, and analytical tools within an international and matrix‑based organization, interacting with multiple countries and business units.
Main Responsibilities
The selected intern will support the Corporate Finance team in consolidation, reporting, and analytical activities, with particular focus on Group consolidation processes, development of Power BI reporting and assistance in ad‑hoc finance projects.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist in the monthly and quarterly Group consolidation process, including data collection, consistency checks, and validation of reported figures.
2. Assist in several reports within our accounting and reporting systems (FCCS and PBCS).
3. Participate in ad-hoc projects for digitalization in the department (Power Bi, automation).
4. Support reconciliation and analysis of intercompany balances and consolidation adjustments.
5. Contribute to the preparation and review of Group financial statements and supporting schedules.
6. Assist with documentation of consolidation processes and internal controls.
7. Assist with the maintenance and analysis of the IFRS 16 lease accounting tool, including data checks and reconciliation to the general ledger.
Job requirements
Qualifications
8. Degree in Business or equivalent program.
9. Strong interest in consolidation, IFRS reporting, and financial analysis.
10. Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Database, Power BI).
11. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
12. Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
13. Excellent communication skills.
14. Adaptability to change.
15. Tech savvy/Willingness to learn new systems.
16. Work and communicate in a European matrix organization where the relationship is transversal between the different departments.
17. Fluency in English is essential. Additional European languages are a plus.
No prior professional experience required, although academic projects or internships in finance‑related roles will be valued.
