Órbita, a leading engineering company, is looking to hire a mechanical or chemical engineer to join our development team at our Alcàsser headquarters.
* Generate specifications for equipment for validation and procurement of industrial equipment.
* Size and validate installations based on theoretical calculations.
* Create and validate detailed construction plans for manufacturing.
* Generate procurement lists.
* Monitor and validate procurement, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
* Prepare documentation according to quality standards.
The role involves responsibility within a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, electrical, and programming) for the assigned project, including technical coordination, manufacturing, and integration of the designed installations.

* Experience in designing industrial equipment related to continuous processes (tanks, reactors, skids, platforms, hoppers).
* Calculation of fluid and solid transport installations (pressure losses, mass balances, time studies, heat transfer, mixing, and agitation).
* Design and sizing of pneumatic systems.
* Knowledge of equipment and processes related to the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries.
* Understanding of process diagrams and P&ID.
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of 3D design applications (Inventor, AutoCAD Plant3D) is a plus.
* Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
