We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented and positive Events Manager to handle the complete life cycle of an event. Reporting to the Events Lead, you will be the main contact to the assigned clients and manages the requires tasks for the event management, as well as coordinates eventual staff or other parties involved.
About the role:
Project’s Lenght: Full-time/Permanent contract
Work model: Hybrid (3 days / week of remote work and 2 from the office)
Location: Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona)
Availability to travel
Main responsibilities:
Reporting to the Events Director, some of your main tasks will be:
Worldwide Client relationship management (meetings, follow ups and mailings).
Ascertain clients’ needs and services required.
Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.
Project Management.
Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
Budget Management and control.
Supplier selection and negotiation
Background & Skills:
+5 year previous experience in Events
Knowledge of working with a Project Management Tool comes in handy
Exceptional English and Spanish communication skills (oral & written)
Catalan and other languages it’s a plus
Good knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint (and preferably design tools)
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and requirements
Energetic and trustworthy team player
Motivated, with positive attitude and willing to learn
Planning and organizational skills
Initiative, drive, enthusiasm, and autonomy
