Job Description: We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our Product Management team. You will architect and implement scalable, secure solutions aligned with our product roadmap, collaborating with Consulting, Support, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality software for our international clients. This role reports directly to the Head of Product Management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable, performant, and secure applications for HCM integration.
* Collaborate across departments to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Deliver enhancements, new features, and expand modules per our product roadmap.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Expert Java development skills, including Spring/Spring Boot, with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with ETL tooling.
* Proficiency in REST APIs, web services, file distribution, encryption, LDAP.
* Strong understanding of databases (Oracle DB, SQL).
* Experience with CI/CD, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban methodologies.
* Knowledge of source control, build, deployment tools (Git, Jenkins, Liquibase, JIRA) is a plus.
* Experience with cloud architectures, microservices, Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, or OCI is a plus.
* Ability to ensure code quality with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG) and code coverage tools like JaCoCo.
* Experience with static analysis tools (OWASP, SonarQube).
* Peer review and performance tuning experience (VisualVM).
* Experience managing technical teams.
* Effective collaboration within diverse, international, and remote teams.
* Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Ability to work according to UK/EU schedules.
* Team player with mentoring skills.
