CAREER OPENING: RECEPTION ASSISTANT / GUEST SERVICES | HOTEL EL FUERTE MARBELLA
Fuerte Group Hotels is inviting applications for a Reception Assistant position at the 5-star Hotel El Robusto Marbella. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the first point of contact service, managing guest logistics, and performing essential reception duties to ensure the best possible luxury guest experience.

2. Essential Job Functions (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Your daily life will involve dynamic interaction, logistics, and administrative support.
2.1. Guest Welcome, Farewell & Information
- Greet and warmly welcome/bid farewell to guests, offering refreshments upon arrival.
- Provide tailored information of interest to visitors, including suggestions for their stay in the city, transportation services, and entertainment options.
- Pay special attention to any incidents or special needs (e.g., VIP guests, reduced mobility, children).
- Handle mail and correspondence, collect and distribute newspapers, and assist with requesting transportation services.
2.2. Logistics, Driving & Parking Management (Bellhop/Valet Duties)
- Carry out the transport of guests’ luggage within the hotel, placing belongings in designated areas upon check-in and loading vehicles upon check-out.
- Manage and oversee guest parking, including the management of keys and hotel transfers.
- Assist guests with parking their own and rental cars.
- Open vehicle doors for guests and provide umbrellas upon arrival and departure when it rains.
- Perform light cleaning of hotel and guest vehicles.
2.3. Control, Quality & Administrative Support
- Ensure the order and cleanliness of the luggage storage area, ensuring correct labeling and safekeeping of all belongings.
- Assist with auxiliary reception administrative tasks, such as filing guest receipts, restocking brochures, destroying lists in accordance with GDPR, and ordering stationery.
- Record any maintenance issues observed in the Gim Web log.
- Monitor compliance with the Operational Ambiance Manual.
- Contribute to achieving the department’s customer data capture targets.
3. Minimum Requirements
You are the ideal candidate for this luxury position if you meet the following criteria:
- Education: Vocational Training Cycle (Intermediate/Advanced Level) in Accommodation/Accommodation Management, Degree in Tourism, and/or similar.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the position within a 5-star environment and luxury segment (e.g., Leading Hotels of the World, Preferred Hotels & Resorts).
- Language Skills: English, Level B1 is the minimum requirement. Proficiency in other languages is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Hotel Management Software and MS Office.
- Driving: Must possess a Type B driving license.
