IT Business Analyst (Hybrid working model in Barcelona)

Job Summary
The Business Analyst ensures liaison between business and IT sides of an IT project, bridging both areas. The Business Analyst is responsible for analysis and related documentation for allocated IT projects, defines how the scope of the IT project will be implemented within existing applications, works closely with the software development team, and establishes strong regional relations for knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
* Bridge business and IT solutions, managing relationships with stakeholders (key users, lab managers, business unit managers) on IT initiatives.
* Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
* Prepare specifications, documentation and regular updates on assigned requirements.
* Ensure proper documentation.
* Define requirements, user stories, test cases.
* Work with the Product Owner to prioritise requirements.
* Prepare changes for Change Advisory Board.
* Support master data migration during projects.
* Provide training to users on application scope.
* Provide post go‑live support of any new solution deployed (“HyperCare Support”).
* Prepare training materials, technical and end‑user documentation.
Qualifications
Education Background:
* Educational background in Healthcare and/or information systems.
Experience:
* Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.
* Experience using Azure DevOps.
* Experience aligning IT with business initiatives.
* Experience in project coordination and project management.
* Experience specifying requirements on business applications.
* Experience with ERP like deployment projects in a mid‑size organization.
Language requirement:
* Near fluent English is a must (C1 level proficiency expected, B2+ minimum).
Personal profile:
* Excellent analytical and creative problem‑solving skills.
* Logical and efficient, with keen attention to details.
* Strong customer orientation mindset.
* Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
* Self‑organised.
* Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.
* Ability to participate in several projects in parallel.

* Team player.
