Job Summary
Facility Manager – Operational Excellence (Operations LI) at Air Liquide Iberica de Gases, S.L.U.
Responsible for achieving and sustaining operational excellence in safety, reliability, efficiency, customer relationships, and regulatory compliance within the LI Facility.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve Operational Excellence at the facility level.
Assume legal responsibility for safety and ensure safety performance (field, process, cybersecurity) with HSE and industrial teams.
Develop and maintain a strong and sustainable safety culture.
Ensure reliability of product delivery meeting customer contracts and demand.
Develop and maintain a strong reliability culture.
Ensure efficiency performance and support the SIO Center.
Monitor performance contribution and follow‐up.
Build and maintain operational relationships with customers and regional stakeholders (fire, police, community).
Approve Facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Manage operational transients, coordinate capitalisation, feedback, and lessons‐learned loops; troubleshoot local issues in non‐standard modes.
Monitor and optimize local operating costs and budgets; recommend cost‐saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
Own the facility's cost of sales.
Implement asset optimisation actions to return the plant/network to normal process conditions and conduct risk analyses before operational solutions.
Coordinate with other teams to ensure maintenance tasks are authorized, coordinated, safely performed, and documented for safety and compliance.
Work with the ROCC to deliver products at optimum system cost and set local or remote connections from the SIO.
Inform the ROCC Pilot/Manager of local issues that affect economic efficiency and reliability.
Ensure incident management coordination at the facility level with other teams.
Coordinate with Industrial Direction Teams on deployment of facility‐level programs.
Coordinate with HSE teams to ensure compliance with regulations and group standards.
Manage HR resources at the facility, ensuring availability to execute site manager missions.
Provide training and coaching to improve team performance.
Insist on adherence to administrative and operational policies and procedures.
Complete Performance Development System reviews, training plans, and action plans for the team.
Ensure staff qualifications meet regulatory and IMS requirements for their missions.
Maintain dialogue with unions and support HR/labor relations on social issues.
Ensure legal compliance of the facility with regulatory support from HSE and industrial teams.
Keep the Entity LI Operations Director informed of activity development and guideline adequacy under local regulations.
Qualifications
Engineer by training.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations LI.
