About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Asset Manager to manage and optimize the performance and profitability of our renewable asset portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Technical Asset Management, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of assets through operational excellence, advanced technical analysis, and strategic lifecycle management.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management & Performance
* Comprehensive Monitoring: Oversee, calculate, and report critical KPIs such as Performance Ratio (PR), availability, and productivity of solar installations.
* Incident Management: Coordinate rapid resolution of significant faults and provide follow-up reports to stakeholders.
* O&M Coordination: Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency and manage strategic spare parts inventories.
Technical Analysis & Optimization
* Asset Optimization: Maximize energy production, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs through advanced data analysis.
* Data Intelligence: Use digital tools and AI to analyze operational data and generate insights that optimize strategic objectives.
* Technical Due Diligence: Evaluate potential acquisitions and new projects, ensuring their optimal integration into the existing portfolio.
Commercial & Contractual Management
* Technical Reporting: Prepare regular performance reports for asset owners, investors, and other stakeholders.
* Contract Management: Oversee rights and obligations arising from O&M, EPC contracts, PPAs, and insurance policies within the operational perimeter.
* Warranty Management: Manage claims to component manufacturers and oversee interventions under warranty coverage.
Compliance & Sustainability
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure operations comply with applicable regulations and grid operator requirements across all markets.
* ESG Management: Prepare sustainability reports, coordinate external audits, and monitor compliance with environmental permits.
* Cybersecurity: Oversee the security of SCADA systems and digital platforms, ensuring the integrity of critical data.
Innovation & Strategic Development
* Digital Transformation: Lead digitalization initiatives and the evaluation of emerging technologies for continuous asset improvement.
* Lifecycle Management: Make tactical and strategic decisions regarding the full lifecycle of assets, including repowering analyses and technological upgrades.
Required Profile
Experience & Education
* 2-3 years of experience in renewable asset management (preferably photovoltaic solar) or in engineering or construction of renewable assets.
* Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, or related) or equivalent experience.
* Experience in data analysis and SCADA monitoring tools.
* In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic systems and performance metrics.
* Experience in contract management within the energy sector.
* Familiarity with European renewable energy regulatory frameworks.
Personal Skills
* Languages: Fluent in English and French (Spanish is a plus).
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
* Analytical thinking and results-oriented.
* Team player.
Employment Conditions
* Mode: On-site in Toulouse, Paris, Valencia or Madrid.
* Reporting: Director of Technical Asset Management.
* Scope: Portfolio of ~300 assets in Spain, Portugal, and France.
* Travel: Occasional travel for technical visits and meetings.
