InsureTech is looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to provide programming leadership and support for application systems development and maintenance projects. Responsible for high-level technical specifications and detail program specifications for Data Migration.
Responsible for database scripts development in adherence with Data Migration standards and best practices.
Responsible for building and maintaining database pl/sql scripts.
Responsible for unit test cases and unit testing of database scripts.
Responsible for coding standards and programming techniques and ensure adherence by holding technical reviews.
Support and guide junior developers in the delivery of the target solutions.
Provide systems design relative to functionality, architecture and databases for complex information systems.
Provide an expert knowledge of the technical aspects of systems development, including data bases, application architecture and Oracle Database technologies.
Provide programming and technical design task estimates and contribute to project planning activities.
Communicate new features and training opportunities with the business users to promote effective use of each application.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
~ Proven commercial experience in software engineering, preferably in enterprise-scale applications, using TDD.
~5+ years’ experience in developing applications using PL/SQL and SQL in Oracle 11g/12c environment.
~ Sound knowledge of RDBMS concepts, designing databases in Oracle 11g/12c environment.
~ Experience to review and tune SQL and PL/SQL code to improve system performance.
~ Good understanding of Unix or Windows scripting.
~ Experience working in an Agile development environment.
~ Preference will be given to candidates who are Oracle certified.
~ Desirable – Experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
