Job Purpose And Overview
In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company’s product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities including Key Account responsibilities. Participate in cluster budgeting and apply the sales policy in place.
Fundamentals of the Position
* Focus on commercial development of customer relationships (80%).
* Prepare and implement objectives and budgets for your sector with your supervisor.
* Develop effective business plans for key customers.
* Achieve sales and margin targets as per the budget.
* Identify, qualify, and develop new profitable business opportunities.
* Understand and communicate Dawn's capabilities to customers.
* Manage assigned accounts effectively and profitably.
* Continuously improve industry knowledge.
* Develop relationships with internal teams: Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain, Marketing, and participate in S&OP processes.
* Provide timely feedback to team members for personal development.
* Conduct sales analysis and complete reports and sales funnel updates.
* Complete weekly and monthly reports promptly and concisely.
* Communicate effectively across departments.
* Provide management with regular reports and information.
* Promote company products at trade shows and exhibitions.
* Collaborate with NPD and marketing on new product development.
* Manage overhead expenses such as promotional funding and samples.
* Operate cost-effectively.
* Research markets, customers, and competitors; report trends and insights.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Education
* Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
* Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate level) and Salesforce.
* Ability to travel as needed, including flying, driving, and overnight stays.
* Minimum of 10 years experience in the Bakery Industry.
