Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by supporting globally our internal teams and clients. It consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide (France, China, India, USA, Mexico, Spain), strategically located to ensure 24/7 support. Our Digital Hub in Barcelona comprises over 450 employees working on strategic projects across roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management, and Digital Marketing.
What will you do?
Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Global Active Directory Technical Engineer with experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
* Work on identity and access management projects, translating client needs into operational capabilities.
* Implement, deploy, and configure new capabilities across platforms.
* Support operational procedures, including break/fix, upgrades, patches, and performance issues.
* Maintain scheduled reports and address audit findings.
* Support critical identity functions, including maintenance, patches, and upgrades.
* Collaborate with Architecture teams on projects and proof of concepts to validate solutions.
* Work with customer teams and support ongoing activities.
* Prioritize daily tasks with customer delivery managers.
* Participate in technical meetings with specialists.
* Provide top-tier incident support related to security tools/solutions.
* Continuously improve deployments and integrate new technologies.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3 years in Microsoft Identity and Access services (Active Directory, Entra ID).
* Experience with Active Directory in large enterprise environments.
* Practical experience with Privileged Identity Management solutions.
* Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and secure environments.
* Experience deploying backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery environments.
* Ability to work closely with network and operations teams to resolve issues.
* Experience troubleshooting with vendors related to security tools.
* Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and testing Microsoft solutions.
* Experience providing best practice recommendations and security requirements.
* Scripting skills with PowerShell, Logic Apps, KQL, or similar.
* Fluent English and teamwork skills.
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (Active Directory, Entra ID) and other tech/security certifications.
* Basic networking and firewall knowledge.
* Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevSecOps practices.
* Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
