Location:
London/Paris
Flexibility:
3 days in office, 2 remote (Either location)
Please note Visa Sponsorship is NOT offered for this role.
Your role:
Lead the creation and improvement of software and algorithms for determining molecular structures using cryo-EM.
Develop, implement, and assess new methods and prototype solutions using tools from computer vision, generative AI (e.G., diffusion or flow-based models), optimization, and other modern machine learning approaches.
Build, organize, and maintain large-scale, high-quality datasets necessary for training and evaluating complex biological AI models.
Apply both traditional and machine learning-based techniques to challenges such as reconstructing heterogeneous single-particle cryo-EM data, automating in-situ data collection, or detecting macromolecules in cryo-ET datasets.
Work closely with research engineers and external partners (e.G., BioNTech) to transform research ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.
Influence and help define the long-term research strategy for AI-driven biological discovery and therapeutic applications.
(Senior level) Provide leadership on research directions, oversee end-to-end project execution, and mentor junior team members.
