SUPPLY CHAIN PACKAGING TECHNICIAN (PERFUME CAPS - COMMODITIES)
SUPPLY CHAIN / TECHNICAL PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT
This role provides technical leadership for perfume cap commodities projects. The position focuses on developing, validating, and industrializing packaging components, ensuring feasibility, quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery while supporting site competitiveness and global initiatives.
THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our Supply Chain Packaging Technician (Perfume Caps - Commodities), you play a critical role in the technical development, validation, and industrialization of packaging components, acting as the primary technical point of contact across Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and external suppliers to deliver compliant and cost‑effective packaging solutions.
You will be reporting to Material Productivity Projects Manager, and you will manage:
**New initiative technical leadership**:
Provide technical inputs during design phases in collaboration with R&D; Packaging
Support FMEA activities and ensure technical readiness for project handover
Participate in start‑ups and industrial trials to validate component performance
Act as technical packaging representative throughout the project lifecycle
**Supplier technical development & business continuity**:
Lead supplier capability and capacity improvements
Conduct root‑cause analysis in case of specification deviations
Support technical homologation and regulatory compliance
Contribute to business continuity plans, including supplier duplication and capacity reinforcement
**Quality, optimization & cross‑functional collaboration**:
Revisit specification tolerances and update packing/delivery instructions as needed
Partner with Operations to improve processes and enhance line efficiency
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify cost‑saving opportunities
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Planning Hub, Quality, and Operations
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As a technical packaging or supply chain professional, you thrive in a fast‑paced and diverse environment. You are methodical, organized, collaborative, and results‑focused.
Skilled in working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Proficiency in working with Power BI
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Product Design, or similar academic background
3-5 years of experience in packaging or similar technical roles
Skilled in 2D & 3D design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
Deep understanding of production/engineering and quality control procedures
Strong written and spoken communication skills
English is mandatory
