We are excited to announce an opportunity for a motivated Software Test Engineer within the T&I department of the Power and Light Division. In this role, you will report to the Software team leader in the Technology and Innovation (T&I) team.
You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
* Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for development software.
* Conducting functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.
* Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies to facilitate resolution.
* Collaborating closely with software developers and hardware engineers to understand product requirements and devise effective test strategies.
* Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
* Analyzing test results and providing detailed, actionable reports to stakeholders.
* Participating in code reviews and offering feedback on testability and quality improvements.
* Continuously refining and improving testing processes and methodologies to keep pace with industry standards.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Knowledge of programming languages such as Structured Text, JavaScript, Python, PLC, Codesys or similar.
* Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN Bus, Modbus and similar).
* Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools; including Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
* Experience using AI tools for software audit and debugging would be valuable.
* Knowledge in Energy Storage, battery‑inverter and energy management systems integration.
* Full professional competence in English.
