Position
Unimedia Technology is looking for a Junior Data Analytics engineer to work on the next-generation digital signage and advertising platform. The project is for an international customer from NL, their platform is already used by major clients across Europe, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving how we manage and use data to generate insights.
Role Overview
You will support the team in sourcing, compiling, and integrating audience, geographic, and demographic data into our platform. This role is designed to give you exposure to real-world data workflows, from cleaning and validation to integration and analysis, while collaborating closely with product and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in researching and acquiring audience, geographic, and demographic data from public and commercial sources.
Clean, normalize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Load structured datasets into a PostgreSQL database so they can be used by our platform for filtering, reporting, and analytics.
Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to ensure data quality and usability across the platform.
Document workflows, scripts, and data structures to ensure clarity and reproducibility.
Support the team in improving and maintaining efficient, scalable data processes.
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Experience with Python and pandas for data cleaning, transformation, and basic analysis of structured datasets.
Interest in data quality, cleaning, and transformation concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in Adtech, Media, or Advertising.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Basic understanding of web scraping or working with APIs.
Comfortable working in Linux/bash or command-line environments.
