The Implementation Director - Food and Beverage Global Business Unit Consulting is responsible for managing a team of Implementation Consultants and Consulting Implementation Managers, ensuring quality work at customer sites. They have a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or industry technology products, monitor performance, and serve as a project advisor for complex engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage Oracle POS implementation projects for clients in the CS4I Food and Beverage industry with technical and resource oversight.
2. Perform varied and complex duties requiring independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.
3. Consult effectively with management of customer organizations.
4. Act as the point of contact for customers and internal resources, including escalations on projects.
5. Develop and execute strategic regional plans under guidance from the Senior Director.
6. Coach, manage performance, and support career development of staff, driving project success.
7. Participate in recruiting and provide hiring recommendations to senior management.
8. Ensure successful customer migration to Oracle POS with effective transition to support post-project closure.
9. Oversee project scope, adjusting as necessary while ensuring adherence to processes and procedures.
10. Review project financials at various levels, managing data quality and accuracy in reporting.
11. Manage travel requirements and expenses, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
12. Monitor and manage project deliverables to ensure execution within budget and approved plans.
13. Align decisions with Oracle’s risk profile.
14. Manage large-scale and complex system projects through all phases of the project life cycle.
15. Manage managers responsible for project and customer success, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.
16. Build strong relationships and consult effectively with customer management.
17. Maintain high organization and time management skills.
