Your role
As Subject Matter Expert – SAP Supply Chain Planning (PP/PPDS), you design, configure, and implement advanced production planning and detailed scheduling processes. You ensure planning operations run efficiently, optimize capacity and resource allocation, and align with industry compliance standards, particularly in regulated environments like pharmaceuticals. Working closely with global stakeholders and other SAP module experts, you deliver integrated, future-ready solutions that strengthen our supply chain performance.
Your Responsibilities
Design and deliver SAP PP/PPDS solutions for production planning and detailed scheduling
Optimize planning workflows and improve schedule adherence in alignment with business needs
Collaborate with SAP MM, SD, and EWM teams to enable synchronized supply chain planning
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations through validation activities in PP/PPDS
Lead project initiatives for production capacity management and planning optimization
Monitor system performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Contribute expertise to large transformation programs, focusing on SAP Supply Chain Planning
Your profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing, IT, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
Minimum 4 years' process knowledge in production planning and scheduling within supply chains
Minimum 4 years' system knowledge in SAP PP and PPDS
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA configuration and advanced planning systems is preferred
Previous experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food/beverage
Hands-on experience in capacity planning and optimization systems
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex workflows
Skilled in working with global, cross-functional teams and matrix organizations
Proactive and structured approach with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel
