Assists in translating the production plan into a mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability based on forecasts.
Maintains MRP parameters, consolidates cross-category needs, and addresses MRP exceptions aligned with the production plan.
Collaborates with suppliers to support Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material requirements, balancing cost and supply needs.
Assists in material inventory analysis, reviewing policies, tracking slow-movers, and managing obsoletes.
Maintains manufacturing parameters to support material planning efficiency.
Identifies and escalates material sourcing risks or opportunities to relevant internal or external stakeholders.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and performance.
Ensures accurate material ordering in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size while minimizing obsoletes.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or Business Administration
1-2 years of experience as intern or employee in supply chain management
Business fluent English and Spanish is required
Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at different levels of organization
Ability to work in virtual environment
Open-minded and flexible, ready for changes of planning portfolio
Strong analytical skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
Basic knowledge of MRP planning is an advantage
