We're partnering with one of Europe's fastest-growing NewSpace companies as they scale satellite production and expand their manufacturing operations in Valencia. This is a rare opportunity to lead the team responsible for turning designs into fully integrated, flight-ready spacecraft.
As the Integration, Mechanical & Thermal Team Lead, you'll own the mechanical build, integration, environmental testing, and delivery of satellites from structure assembly through to launch readiness. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team covering structures, harness, thermal hardware, deployables, solar panels, and satellite integration while helping scale production for significant future growth.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead a team of engineers and technicians responsible for satellite integration, mechanical assembly, and thermal systems
* Own the build and integration of spacecraft structures, harnesses, deployables, MLI, thermal hardware, and solar panel assemblies
* Oversee environmental testing including vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum campaigns
* Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, integration, and test processes
* Develop scalable production systems, procedures, tooling, and work instructions
* Ensure quality, configuration control, and reliable on-time delivery
* Act as the key interface between production, engineering, quality, and planning teams
* Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, accountability, and execution
What We're Looking For
* Experience leading teams within aerospace, defence, space, advanced manufacturing, robotics, automotive, or other complex hardware environments
* Strong hands-on background in mechanical assembly, integration, or system-level testing
* Understanding of environmental testing including vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum
* Experience improving production processes and driving operational excellence
* Ability to lead teams through growth, change, and increasing production volumes
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth engineering environment
* Satellite, spacecraft, defence, or high-reliability hardware experience is highly desirable
Why Join?
* Join a leading NewSpace company undergoing major international expansion
* Play a critical role in scaling satellite production capabilities
* Own the end-to-end mechanical integration and test process
* Lead a growing team with significant autonomy and influence
* Work on cutting-edge spacecraft that are deployed globally
* Excellent long-term career progression as the business continues to grow
