Mitiga is a spinoff of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, hosting MareNostrum, one of Europe's most powerful supercomputers.
Our mission is to employ cutting-edge science and technology to mitigate risks posed by climate-driven perils. We provide forecasts from real-time to century-long projections and transfer risks to capital markets via catastrophe bonds, contributing to climate mitigation, resilience, and equity.
We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to drive business growth by developing strategic relationships with high-value clients in Infrastructure / Energy sectors. You will sell SaaS-based climate risk solutions to senior decision-makers, establishing Mitiga as a trusted partner in climate resilience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop strategic accounts: Seek out and cultivate relationships within targeted industries.
2. Conduct client assessments: Use industry expertise to understand climate risk exposures and develop tailored solutions.
3. Sell SaaS climate risk solutions: Articulate value propositions to senior decision-makers.
4. Build long-term partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships for ongoing value and loyalty.
5. Stay informed on industry trends: Keep up with climate change trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
Requirements
* Minimum 7+ years in B2B sales with a proven track record in complex solutions.
* At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure / Energy sectors.
* Deep understanding of climate change science, impacts, and mitigation strategies; familiarity with corporate sustainability and regulations.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build trust across all client levels.
* Proven sales success and target achievement.
* Passion for sustainability and climate action.
