It is not a junior role nor limited to reporting tasks🔧 ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control & Reporting
- Full ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for two Spanish entities
- Preparation and review of P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements
- Variance analysis against budget and forecast,
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial dataStatutory & Tax Compliance
- Coordinate statutory accounts under Spanish GAAP, including audits
- Work with external advisors on:– Corporate Income Tax– VAT (Spanish and EU cross‑border)– Withholding taxes
- Ensure full compliance with local accounting and tax regulationsOperational Finance
- Cash‑flow forecasting and monitoring
- Track OPEX, accruals, and provisions
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Act as a finance business partner to local managementBanking & Payments
- Prepare and execute payment orders (vendors, payroll, taxes, intercompany)
- Manage online banking platforms and user permissions
- Daily cash monitoring and short‑term liquidity planningSystems & Controls
- Ensure strong internal controls and audit‑ready documentation
- Support ERP processes (SAP preferred)🧠 RequirementsExperience
- +5 years of experience in Financial Controlling
- Strong background in Spanish statutory accounting and tax
- Experience working in multinational or group environments
- Proven hands‑on experience taking ownership of the close processLanguages
- Spanish: fluent/native
- English: fluent (spoken and written)
