At LVDBiotech (iVascular) is a Medical Devices company located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts. We specialize in the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of advanced medical devices for the treatment of cardiovascular, neurovascular, and endovascular diseases. Our purpose is clear: to develop technologies that save and improve lives. We are currently looking for a BUSINESS STRATEGY ANALYST to join the Business Strategy & Innovation team at our offices in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona).

The Business

\n

Strategy & Innovation Department supports both companies within the group, LVDBiotech and iVascular, and its mission is to work on present initiatives while analyzing future development plans related to products, portfolio, company strategy, sales models, and commercial structures, as well as conducting short-, medium-, and long-term analyses. The department ensures the quality of generated data, maintains reliable and up-to-date databases, and applies rigorous methodologies in the development of models for markets, companies, products, and development projects. company analyses, investment assessments, and other strategic evaluations. Support the design and implementation of commercial strategies to maximize ROI in commercial execution and improve competitiveness. Analyze market data, forecast trends, and develop insights on market share to drive growth. Improve sales force effectiveness by defining KPIs, monitoring performance, and optimizing sales processes. Manage commercial excellence projects, including aligning individual and team objectives with overall business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance) to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Drive innovation initiatives in commercial operations, leveraging analytical tools to support evidence-based decision making. Provide coaching and recommendations to maximize efficiency in commercial execution. Additionally, the BSI department supports general management in various strategic needs, including institutional relations, analysis of products, companies, and organizational matters, as well as engagement with stakeholders, professional societies, and other external partners. Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Fluent in English and Spanish.

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial business areas or in operational and/or strategic roles such as commercial excellence, sales operations, business analysis, strategic consulting, or similar functions. Previous experience in industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or life sciences is preferred.

Experience in project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. Proven experience in advanced data analysis and modeling, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar. Knowledge of effective sales practices, distributor management, strategic planning, and budgeting. Strong business acumen and understanding of sales and marketing operations. Ability to perform data analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
