SEK International School Catalunya needs to incorporate a PYP (P-5) Teacher (Substitution) with immediate incorporation.
Mission
Nurturing the holistic development of young learners. Fostering inquiry-based learning, promoting social and emotional growth, and supporting the development of foundational skills in a safe and engaging environment.
Funtions:
Develop and implement teaching plans for the transdisciplinary and disciplinary units.
Attend meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.
Promote exploration and inquiry, encouraging students to ask questions, investigate ideas, and think critically
Develop interpersonal skills, such as cooperation, communication, and emotional regulation
Integrate learning across various disciplines, helping students make connections between different subjects and the world around them
Communicate with parents the students’ progress
Attend to school activities such as festivals and Open Days
Requirements:
Degree in Early Years Education or related field.
Teaching experience, preferably within the IB PYP framework.
Native or near-native level of English.
Spanish and/or Catalan will be valued.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with educational platforms will be considered an asset.

Schedule: Mond- Thurs:9:20 – 17:20. Friday: 9:00-17:00
Substitution contract
Location: La Garriga - Barcelona
Salary: according to the private schools agreement.
