Your responsibilities
AsTechnical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth by combining your technical expertise with strong customer engagement skills. You will support the entire sales cycle - from identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions to post-sale technical support - while expanding our presence inSpain & Portugal.
* Proactively develop and expand our customer base in Spain & Portugal through acquisition and relationship management.
* Collaborate with the sales teams to provide technical insights during pre-sales and sales activities, as well as with cross‑functional teams such as product development, project management, after‑market or marketing.
* Provide expert consultation by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored technical solutions.
* Identify and develop new market segments through competitive and market analysis.
* Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, customer visits and visits to our test centres.
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Aftermarket teams to align offerings with evolving market needs.
* Management and leadership skills to be able to be promoted to management positions.
Your qualifications
* A Master Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable technology‑related field. The degree must be legally recognized in Spain.
* A Master in Business Administration provides an interesting advantage.
* 3‑5 years of professional experience in technical sales (B2B), application engineering, or a related field, preferably in a technical or industrial environment (experience in the Chemical industry, Cement industry or Steel market beneficial).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Spanish (native) and English, written and spoken; as additional languages Portuguese or German are an advantage.
* Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
* High customer orientation, self‑motivation, and a willingness to travel.
* Strategic thinking with a hands‑on mentality and a results‑driven approach.
* Willingness to travel (40% travel required).
