We are a dynamic and fast-growing Payment Service Provider (PSP) headquartered in Marbella, Spain, specializing in digital transactions and financial technology solutions. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Financial Controller with light MLRO responsibilities to join our team at our Marbella-based office.This role offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on financial oversight with light-touch AML compliance duties, in a well-supported and professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily financial operations, including reconciliation of incoming and outgoing transactions.Monitor and report on key financial metrics, working closely with the finance and operations teams.Prepare financial statements, monthly reporting, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.Support regulatory reporting and internal audit processes.Work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.MLRO Duties :
Assist in maintaining AML policies and procedures in compliance with applicable Spanish and EU regulations.Monitor transactions and support initial reviews of any potentially suspicious activity.Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of KYC / KYB processes.Liaise with external partners and internal teams to ensure AML processes are followed.Support occasional reporting requirements to authorities, under the guidance of senior compliance personnel.Candidate ProfilePrevious experience in a Financial Controller or similar role within the payment services or financial technology sector.Solid understanding of transaction flows and reconciliation in digital payments.Familiarity with AML regulations and basic compliance procedures in the financial services space.Prior exposure to cryptocurrency-related payment environments is strongly preferred.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach.Fluency in English;
