Revlon, the leading multinational cosmetics company, is seeking a Raw Materials Associate (temporary, 9 months) to join the R&D team in Barcelona.
The role is responsible for the ownership and maintenance of raw material information, specifications, and standards across Revlon’s global manufacturing sites and third-party partners, with a strong focus on data management and system accuracy.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain and update raw material data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Support the identification, qualification, and approval of new raw materials and suppliers
* Coordinate raw material coding in SAP and external systems (e.g., Enginuity)
* Create and update raw material specifications, standards, and documentation
* Support global initiatives (e.g., sustainability, regulatory) with accurate data
* Contribute to issue resolution and, when required, support analytical testing activities
Requirements:
Mandatory
* Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific field (or Higher Vocational Training (FP) in a relevant discipline)
* Experience in laboratory or technical environments, particularly with a documentation focus
* At least an early professional experience within an industrial or corporate environment
* Advanced level of English
* Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process data files
* Strong data entry and data management skills, with close attention to detail
* Experience working with raw materials, ideally within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry
Nice to have
* Familiarity with SAP and data migration processes using Excel
* Knowledge of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food regulations
* Bench-top formulation or laboratory experience
