We're looking for a motivated, smart, and dedicated sales person to join us as the early sales team member based in our Barcelona office As an EMEA account executive, you will:
Drive commercial growth for Topsort's retail media infrastructure to our ideal customer profiles, including retailers, marketplaces, and delivery apps, to enable them to launch, scale, and optimize their retail media offering.
Carry sales quota and consistently accomplish them or exceed them, demonstrating relentless focus and "hunter energy" to win RFPs and deals against competition.
You are a retail media wizard, knowing all the ins and outs of the industry, and will continue to build more connections from onsite workshops, client visits, coffee chats, LinkedIn activities, and more.
Be a strong voice of Topsort that guides customers through the sales cycle from prospects through the buyer journey from discovery to contract negotiation, being independent while collaborating with product, engineering, and finance counterparts to help drive a deal to the finish line.
Be a subject matter expert: know everything about Topsort's products, retail media market landscape, and stay on top of the industry trends.
Bachelor's degree or MBA with excellent grades and intellectual rigor from a top university and preferred STEM background or economics, finance, and data science.
~7+ years of experience in sales, or background in consulting, product management, have worked with fast-growing dynamic startups, proven track record of exceeding quota in a customer-facing role.
~ Ability to learn on the job, learn fast, and have strong curiosity for the industry and a desire to self-educate to become the expert on auctions, retail media, and marketplace monetization.
~ Team Player: Lone wolf style sales are from the past; This role will be based in Barcelona, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote - requires travel both in Europe and internationally for onsite, client visits, and industry events.
