The Technical Lead in Omega’s Marketing team is responsible for ensuring the technical progress of projects, advising all technical roles involved throughout various stages, and ensuring that the development team meets client and company expectations regarding technical quality and project profitability.
This includes identifying potential gaps and advising on the best solutions. The Technical Lead should serve as a technical reference, possessing in-depth platform knowledge, and act as a guide for the growth and development of team members. The role involves close collaboration with the Project Manager, Delivery Manager, and Client Lead.
Main Responsibilities:
Projects:
Support commercial and functional teams on accounts requiring technical solution knowledge:
design, estimation, and assumptions.
Assist the PM/DM in technical leadership, providing platform expertise and identifying optimal solutions.
Detect and report risks related to technical management affecting project/client profitability.
Ensure project scope, timeline, and costs are on track, alerting deviations.
Achieve technical objectives and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Supervise development effort estimates and support testing phases.
Deliver final technical documentation.
Solutions:
Provide effort estimations for marketing projects.
Collaborate on project demos and identify opportunities for up & cross-selling.
Suggest methodological improvements and evaluate new products/systems.
Work with technology providers as needed.
Team and Training:
Share technical knowledge within Omega’s community of practice.
Provide training and mentoring to develop team skills.
Participate in technical team development and training initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
Experience with Data Cloud and Personalization projects.
Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Salesforce certifications are a plus.
High level of English proficiency.
