At Disproquima, we are looking for a new Product Manager with experience in nutraceutical specialties such as probiotics, liposomal minerals, microalgae, Omega-3 to join our Global Dietary Supplements team. This position will be responsible for managing the specialties portfolio and providing technical support to our international sales team.
The main responsibilities include:
* Definition of Strategic Suppliers for the Dietary Supplements Specialties portfolio.
* Definition of Strategic Products for the Dietary Supplements Specialties portfolio.
* Creation and management of supplier relationships.
* Price negotiations with suppliers and distribution/customer protection agreements.
* Search for new represented companies.
* Promotion strategy across different countries.
* Trainings and knowledge transfer sessions for the wider commercial team.
* Commercial management of incidents and claims, together with the Quality Department.
* Proposal and support in sales strategies for strategic products.
* Trend analysis.
* Attendance at specialized trade fairs.
* Technical and commercial support to the rest of the sales network.
* Pursuit of achieving the approved budget targets for their part of the portfolio.
Who are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
* Over 3 years of experience in roles within the dietary supplements industry, with a focus on nutraceutical ingredients.
* Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
* Commercial skills (experience not required).
* Willingness to travel.
