VHIR is looking for a PhD candidate position for the group of neurodegenerative diseases.
Main responsibilities and duties:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biomedicine, or a related field. Please attach your academic records
* Master’s degree of Science in Translational Biomedical Research or a related discipline. Please attach your academic records
* Languages: English (professional proficiency)
* Publications. Please include authors, title and DOI
* Fluency in Catalan and Spanish
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
* Relevant Experience: Prior work in research centers, laboratories, or industries related to this position. Please specify the duration and describe your main responsibilities
* Previous knowledge in the field of medical research
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
* Experience and knowledge of histological laboratory techniques
* Experience with specialised software for image and data analysis
* Scientific Contributions: Participation in or attendance at conferences and workshops. Please provide details including authors, title of your contribution, conference name, and date
Additional Information
Labour conditions:
* Full-time position: 40h/week
* Gross annual salary: 20 000 - 24.300 euros as specified in the call for pre-doctoral contracts associated with a Knowledge Generation project 2025
* Contract: Predoctoral
* Duration: 4 years maximum according to public call
