Security Consultant – Insider Risk Management (Microsoft Purview) Barcelona, Spain (Remote) Excelia is a multinational Consulting, Technology, and Professional Services company with over 25 years of experience and a presence in more than 50 countries across Europe, Latin America, and the United States through our 9 own offices. We are looking for a Security Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (IRM) to join an international cybersecurity program. Main Responsibilities Operations & Alert Triage Review and investigate IRM alerts in Microsoft Purview. Apply triage procedures and escalate relevant cases. Maintain investigation documentation. Ensure SLA compliance for alert processing. Operations Coordination Support day-to-day operational activities. Monitor service performance and reporting. Coordinate policy updates and operational improvements. Prepare weekly reports on alerts, trends, and issues. Optimization & Continuous Improvement Tune IRM configurations and detection rules. Reduce false positives and improve alert quality. Design new policies and use cases. Perform log analysis and support dashboard creation. Requirements Proven experience with Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management. Strong background in Security Operations, alert triage, and incident analysis. Experience with detection tuning and signal engineering. Knowledge of insider threat and data protection concepts. Strong communication and analytical skills. Fluent English. Nice to Have Microsoft Security or Compliance certifications. Experience in global enterprise environments. Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks. What We Offer Permanent position.
