As an APU VPS Engineer in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful car‑maker companies in the electronics development field, in an international and multicultural environment.
VPS COMPETENCES
- Develop his own competences and skills in tools and methodologies useful for the APU.
- Train APU members to VPS tools, standards & methodologies and ensure that VPS standards are known and applied properly.
VPS STRATEGIES
- Ensure that VPS rules are taken into account in new projects at the appropriate phase.
- Help the APU Manager to keep a continuous improvement mindset, behaviour & policy whatever the operational situation.
- Organise annual VSA going through the APU and propose the yearly workshops list.
- Help to define the VPS strategy of the APU and prepare the APU budget concerning VPS targets & budget.
- Manage the deployment of V5000 VPS within the APU: manage APU self‑assessment with APU members and improvement action plan.
- Deploy VPS standards & best practices within the APU.
VPS GENBA ACTIVITIES
- Coach APU members on application of VPS tools and methodologies through OJT.
- Permanently help the APU Manager to detect and react to non‑conformances against VPS standards.
- Manage the maintenance of VPS tools through appropriate audits (like kanban audits): audit organisation, performance & follow‑up.
- Prepare & organise the weekly APU VPS committee (incl. agenda proposal) led by the APU manager, and write the minute.
- Check regularly in‑depth the proper deployment of the VPS axis in the APU.
- Support APU VPS workshop pilots on methodology and results achievement.
- Lead himself permanently workshops and implement improvement proposals.
- Permanently promote the VPS principles.

- Ensure a lean reporting.
