About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing French scale-up at the forefront of the MedTech revolution. They develop smart sensors and software that allow physiotherapists and strength coaches to measure strength, balance, and range of motion in real-time.
With a presence in over 70 countries and a recent major funding round, they are scaling their international operations. We are looking for a strategic sales leader to manage the LATAM partner network while spearheading direct business development within the Madrid region.
Key Responsibilities: A Dual Strategic Role
1. LATAM Distribution Management (60%)
- Network Animation: Drive, challenge, and support existing distributors across Latin America.
- Business Reviews: Conduct regular performance audits, set annual sales targets, and ensure partner alignment with the brand’s general strategy.
- Expansion: Identify, vet, and onboard new distribution partners to strengthen market coverage in untapped territories.
- Sales Support: Act as the technical and commercial expert during key international trade shows and major negotiations.
2. Local Business Development – Madrid & Region (40%)
- "From Scratch" Growth: Build a solid customer base in the Madrid area by targeting rehabilitation centers, private physiotherapy clinics, and professional sports clubs.
- Direct Sales: Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and on-site demonstrations to closing deals with healthcare professionals and performance directors.
- Local Ecosystem: Establish the brand as a leader in the Madrid sports and health community, turning local clients into regional success stories.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5 to 15 years in export sales or business development, with a proven track record in managing international distribution networks.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the MedTech, healthcare, or sports equipment sector is highly preferred.
- Skills: * Expertise in negotiating distribution agreements and managing indirect sales channels.
- Strong "hunter" mentality for the Madrid direct market.
- Comfortable demonstrating high-tech hardware and software to medical professionals.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.
- Portuguese is a strong bonus to effectively manage the Brazilian market and Lusophone partners.
- Qualities: Autonomy, cultural adaptability (bridging European and LATAM business styles), and high professional maturity.
Compensation & Perks
- Total Package: €66K (€40K Base Salary + €26K Uncapped Variable).
