Web Security Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Web Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital security department, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities in web applications, computer networks, and systems. About the Role This role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, simulating cyberattacks, and collaborating with other security professionals to protect our organization's digital assets. You will also be responsible for performing vulnerability scans and basic penetration testing on networks, web applications, mobile applications, and other systems. Key Responsibilities Conduct vulnerability assessments and simulate cyberattacks to identify potential security threats Collaborate with development teams to analyze detected vulnerabilities and implement security patches Perform vulnerability scans and basic penetration testing on networks, web applications, mobile applications, and other systems Update and manage penetration testing tools and software Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities, common vulnerabilities, and security testing methodologies. You should also have familiarity with basic networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Exposure to penetration testing tools is also desirable.
